(Photos by Kitja Apichonrojarek)The Bank of Thailand has unveiled a new set of banknotes in all available denominations in remembrance of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The 20-baht, 50-baht, 100-baht, 500-baht and 1,000-baht banknotes are the same size and have the same frontal designs as the current issue. The main element is on the reverse side of each denomination, which reflect stories of his lifetime, central bank governor Veerathai Santiprabhob said. The new banknotes will be put into circulation on Sept 20 and will be available at all branches of all banks.
